Neil Hewitt was born on August 18, 1988 in Ames, Iowa. It was the fall of 2000, at age 12, that he discovered an interest in music, and began taking weekly guitar lessons. He began singing his favorite country songs and gave his first live performance in an 8th grade talent show. The response to that performance encouraged him to continue singing and songwriting. He released his first C.D. in August 2006, which featured 3 original songs. Neil recently had a CD release party in Ames and Todd & Jamie were there to introduce him, they also took part in a video that was shot about Neil. Click below to watch it!
