Last year two of KIX101.1 listeners sent us pictures from Iraq with our OLD logo! So when KIX101.1 saw them at the Iowa Speedway this past summer we gave them new t-shirts with our NEW logo! Not only are the KIX101.1 fans they are also Iowa Speedway Fans! Tsgt Jake Hermanson and Tsgt Ben Mader of the 132nd Fighter Wing, Des Moines, Iowa are stationed at Balad AB, Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. In the background of the pictures are the F-16 Fighting Falcons. By the way, they wanted everyone to know that it is sunny and seventy in Iraq…they just wanted to rub it in!
