The Gladbrook Corn Carnival continues in Gladbrook this day with a sweltering summer day for this annual summer celebration. The Grand Parade will take place this evening beginning at 6:30 p.m. and Fireworks are set to go off Saturday evening at 10:00 p.m. Sweet corn and watermelon will be sold in the parking lot of Hometown Foods grocery store. Participants are asked to park where they can, however, parking on the sides of the highway that passes through Gladbrook is prohibited.
