Representatives of Midwest Manufacturing were in Marshalltown on Thursday talking about the new operation on South !8th Avenue and visiting with local business leaders. The business manufactures and distributes lumber products and is an arm of the Menards company which has a large store on Iowa Avenue. A meeting and networking session was held at the Fisher Community Center and a brief ribbon cutting ceremony was held at the plant.
