The Marshalltown City Council held a special meeting Thursday in which they approved a contract and named a new interim City Administrator in Mark Stevens out of Des Moines. Mayor Jim Lowrance says this is a temporary scenario. Marshalltown City Administrator Randy Wetmore has taken a job in the state of Georgia and is stepping down at the end of the month of August.
