There has been a lot of rain lately, however our scenario in Marshall County is much better than what has been the scenario in northeast Iowa where flood troubles have abounded. The National Weather Service has extended a river flood warning for the Iowa River at Marshalltown and further down stream into Tama County. The warning for our neck of the woods continues until Friday afternoon and the warning for down the river in Tama County continues until Saturday morning. No real flood concerns from authorities here and no road closure notices have been received.
