The Marshalltown City Council will meet this afternoon at 5:30 at City Hall. Another busy meeting for council, they are expected to approve the purchase of a bus for Marshalltown Municipal Transit, also approve a grant application for a facade project for a downtown location at 116 West Main, and a resolution creating incentives for police officer recruitment as suggested by Police Chief Michael Tupper. The meeting is open to the public.
