A routine traffic stop turned into a 3 for 1 for the Marshalltown Police yesterday morning.
A car was stopped on an equipment violation near Main and 8th Avenue. Officers discovered two of the three in the car, Shane Jensen and Virginia Purk were wanted on outstanding warrants.
The other individual, Tanner Halverson-Weese not only provided false identification, but was also in possession of controlled substances. Then, after being taken to jail, more drugs were found on Halverson-Weese, which added possession of contraband in a correctional institute charge to go along with the other drug-related charges.
