A Tama woman was killed when a semi crossed the center line and hit her car on Highway 30 east of Tama yesterday.

Charlene Rosenfelder was killed when she swerved to try and avoid the semi, driven by James Novotny of Exeter, Nebraska. The accident remains under investigation.
