Here’s an unfortunate reminder Spring is here and that means kids will be outside playing.

A 7-year old Kalona boy was hospitalized yesterday after he was hit by a vehicle while on his bicycle.

The Iowa State Patrol says the SUV, driven by Lynette Wilson of New London was southbound when it hit the youngster heading north on his bike. The accident remains under investigation. No word on the seven year old’s condition.
