A former Mayor of Marshalltown has passed away at the age of 90.

Thomas R. “Tommy” Thompson passed away at an Iowa City Hospital. Thompson, a General Manager for Lennox as well, took over as Marshalltown Mayor after then-Mayor Gene Beach passed away.

Services for Tommy Thompson are pending with Anderson Funeral Homes in Marshalltown.
