Sunday, May 20th from noon to 4pm, the Marshalltown Police Department and the Marshall County Sheriffs Office will be conducting a child car seat safety event in the parking lot of Fareway, 102 West Anson Street.  The purpose of the event is to help reduce the incidence of improper installation of car seats.  Certified seat safety technicians will provide a free evaluation to ensure proper use, installation and compliance with Iowa law of a child seat.
