You’ve heard the stories about a couple of armed robberies in the last week or so around Marshalltown. One way to help combat the bad guys, according to Marshalltown Police, is with a Neighborhood Watch program. It’s a great way to get to know your neighbors, watch out for each other and take control of your block or two.

Marshalltown Chief Mike Tupper says the department will be glad to help you out, but they can’t run a neighborhood watch program, that’s up to you and your neighbors. Tupper also reminds that the PD is available, so if you see something, say something.
