A Walford woman was killed last night when her car collided with a deer in Tama County.

Donna Smith was riding in a car when the deer went through the windshield and hit her about six miles east of Tama on Highway 30. The driver of the car, Amy Smith of West Des Moines, was not listed as injured by the Iowa State Patrol.
