One Iowa based team will be competing for the Missouri Valley’s automatic NCAA post season berth as both Drake and Northern Iowa won quarter final contests in the Valley’s Conference Tourney last night in St. Louis.

After Drake disposed of Illinois State 78 to 62, Northern Iowa clinched a semi final appearance 61-58 over Southern Illinois.

Drake and UNI will meet in a semi final match at five this afternoon, the winner moving on to Sundays title game. The two teams split their regular season meetings.
