It’s been just over four months since Shelli Lovell became the General Manager/CEO for the Marshalltown Water Works. During that time, she says she has gotten to know the staff and a lot of folks in the community. However, the 30-year veteran of the water industry says she’s not a stranger when it comes to Marshalltown. She says she used to spend some summers with family in Marshalltown while she was growing up.

Lovell succeeded Steve Sincox, who passed away last July. While she is evaluating everything water related, she says one thing should never change; the quality of Marshalltown’s water.
