Here are the “brackets” for today’s local meetings:

The Poweshiek County Board of Supervisors will meet at 8:30;

The Grundy County Board of Supervisors at 9:00;

The Marshalltown City Council will meet in special session at noon and immediately go into a closed session;

The South Tama County SChool board will gather at 5:30;

and at 6:30, the Grundy Center City Council and the East Marshall Community Board of Education will conduct meetings.
