A Washington man was killed when his SUV ended up on its top in a ditch filled with water.

77-year old Jerry Lee Coblentz died in the accident yesterrdy on Highway 218 in Washington County. A passenger in the car, Mandy Shetler of Kalona was taken to the Washington County Hospital.
