A Grundy Center man has died after being arrested, jailed and then had a medical issue.

Ricky Siglar was stopped by a sheriff’s deputy in the city yesterday afternoon and booked into the Grundy County Jail on OWI and possession of a controlled substance.

When Siglar began having medical issues he was taken to Grundy County Memorial Hospital where he later died.

An autopsy will be performed on Siglar. The DCI is investigating the incident.
