An overflow assembly of citizens took part in the initial public showing of the new Fire and Police Headquarters in Marshalltown. The response to what they saw was overwhelmingly positive.
Marshalltown Police Chief Mike Tupper reminded the folks that they deserve the credit for backing the project, adding he had about 20,000 folks to thank personally.
