Ames shot a 312 to finish three shots behind Dowling Catholic at the CIML Conference meet Thursday at Veenker Memorial Golf Course.

Connor Van Weelden was Ames’ low scorer with a 76, which was good for fourth place. Ankeny Centennial’s Jack Winkel was the match’s medalist with a 74.

Marshalltown’s Cole Davis was medalist with a two under par 69 at the Bobcats Conference meet in Fort Dodge. As a team, the Cats finished fourth, 19 shots back of team titlist Waukee.
