A long lineup of area meetings on the agenda for this first Monday of October;

The Poweshiek County Board of Supervisors meet at 8:30;

The Grundy County Board of Supervisors at 9:00;

The Toledo City Council will meet in special session at 5:00 to possibly appoint a new Chief of Police;

The Marshalltown School Board will gather at 5:00;

The South Tama County Board of Education will meet in special session at 5:30;

The Grundy Center City Council meets at 6:30;

and the Rhodes City Council will gavel in at 7:00.
