Area Boy Scouts will be out in force the next couple of weekends to help those who may not have enough to ea. The 29th year of Scouting For Food will begin on Saturday when scouts will be coming neighborhoods in Gladbrook, Eldora, Iowa Falls, Tama, and Marshalltown.
Boy Scout rep Tom McCoy says all the food and proceeds will again be delivered to area food pantries. McCoy adds area Rotarians are also getting involved this year, so the hope is that they can top last year’s total of $2,000 raised, along with 7,200 food items.
