Alliant Energy and officials from the Ames Economic Development Commission are announcing that Prairie View Industrial Center  in Ames is becoming Iowa’s second certified “Super Park”.  Due to it’s location and easy access from the highway and Union Pacific Railroad, the site is ideal according to officials.  The Iowa Certified Site Program was launched by the Iowa Economic Development Authority in 2012 to address the lack of project ready industial sites in the state.  Prairie View is only the second site among 27 certified to be a Super Park.”
