Here is the Columbus Day agenda for area meetings:

The Poweshiek County Board of Supervisors meets at 8:30;

the Grundy County Board of Supervisors at 9:00;

The Marshalltown City Council has a busy agenda beginning at 5:30, including creating a $50,000 incentive for new construction in the Downtown Urban Renewal Area #4, while setting a Public Hearing for a developer to build a grocery store at 107 N. Center Street, also a public hearing will be set to move forward with borrowing $9.7 million dollars in general obligation bonds;

and the Toledo City Council will meet at 6:00 this evening.
