The Ames boys Cross country team qualified for state in yesterday’s qualifying meet in Cedar Falls. On the girl’s side, Ames’ Camille Jackson took first to earn a berth to State as well.
Marshalltown’s Phoebe Hermanson continues to runs straight towards State. The Bobcat sophomore finished 7th in yesterdays district meet at MCC to qualify for the 4A state meet.
In the 1A competition, BCLUW’s Ruben Montoya qualified for state, as did East Marshall’s Ellie Hull.
Elsewhere, The Grundy Center/Gladbrook-Reinbeck boys qualified for the 2A state meet, while Grundy Center’s Taylor Stahl qualified for the girl’s state meet.
and West Marshalls’ Nicolas Thompson also qualified for state.
