Who’d of thunk that the rage of blackout plates would spread so quickly across the Hawkeye state? It is now the most popular specialized plate in the state, surpassing the UofI plate. Marshall County Treasurer Jarrett Heil you can go to the DOT website to order personalized plates…but the deadline to order the personalized for delivery by Christmas in November 8th. 

With over 46,000 blackout plates already issued, the plate has added over two million dollars to the DOT bank account.
