Ames put itself into a position to capture its fifth straight swimming championship during yesterday’s action at the State Swimming and Diving Championships at the Marshalltown YMCA/YWCA. The Little Cyclones qualified 19 for the individual finals, along with two relay teams.
Also yesterday, Marshalltown’s Hannah Taylor placed 10th in the diving competition.
Action resumes this morning at the Community Y.
