North Tama has advanced to the 1A semi-finals at the state volleyball championships in Cedar Rapids. The Redhawks downed LeMars Gehlen Catholic in three straight sets to advance to tonight’s semi-final round versus top-seeded Sidney.

Also yesterday, Nevada fell to Red Oak in the 3A quarterfinals, while Grundy Center lost to Osage in 2A quarterfinal action.
