A middle school student at BCLUW has been suspended after using social media to make what the district calls “disturbing comments”.

A letter sent out last night to parents stated the threat didn’t seem to be credible, but law enforcement was notified as was the student’s family. The letter from Superintendent Ben Petty and Middle School principal Dirk Borgman asked parents and caregivers to make sure students are aware of the “…ramifications…and that hoaxes related to school safety will not be tolerated…”.
