The Marshalltown City Council approved aiding two downtown businesses with their post-tornado recoveries.

A facade grant through the Central Business District for the building housing The Optical Center was given the green light, as was a $175,000 Catalyst grant to assist in the construction of an expanded location for Flying Elbow at the corner of Center and State Streets.
