The Salvation Army could have had a better Christmas.

It’s Red Kettle campaign in Marshalltown came in about eight thousand dollars shy of its $70,500 goal.

Proceeds from the Red Kettle Campaign help fund programs in Marshalltown, such as rent and utility assistance, food pantry and youth programming, throughout the year.  If the difference is not made up, budget cuts will need to be made. Year-end donations can be mailed to PO Box 482, Marshalltown, IA 50158 or dropped off at 107 West State Street, Marshalltown during regular business hours.
