Third-ranked Kansas outscored Iowa State 21-3 to close the opening and rolled in a 79-53 win in Hilton Coliseum. It was the Cyclones third home loss of the season.
The Cyclones are 7-7 overall and 0-2 in the Big 12. Next up, a Hilton date with Oklahoma Saturday night.
