It’s always amazing how good can come out of loss. About a year ago, the Marshalltown community was mourning the loss of Corey Brown. He was found after leaving home one cold night. Now you have a chance to have a little fun while helping establish a scholarship in Corey’s name. The local folks with United States Bowling Congress will host a Memorial Scholarship Tournament in Corey’s name on February 21st at 22nd at Wayward Social. USBC President Tony Fann says Corey was a part of Youth Bowling Leagues.
the entry fee is $100.00 per five-person team for a 9-pin no tap tourney. Prizes will be awarded as well, so if you are interested in helping fund the scholarship in Corey Brown’s name, just reach out to Wayward Social.
