Work is continuing towards finalizing the next fiscal year budget for Marshall County. The Board of Supervisors notes that being debt-free has been a big plus, especially when it comes to things popping up as the Courthouse renovation continues. Supervisor Chair Steve Salasek says not every county in the state is in the same position that Marshall County is.

Part of the budget will be addressed at this morning’s Board meeting when the Supervisors take up the recommendations of the County Compensation Board.
