Is it the beginning of the end for the Iowa Caucus’ status as first in the nation? Over 12 hours after the precinct doors opened around the state, we are still waiting to see the numbers from last night’s polling.

What began as a night of excitement and expectation has turned into a failure of high magnitude. Around one this morning, State Party Chair Troy Price issued a statement saying that integrity was the priority for reporting the results.

There may be confidence in the results when they are finally released, but the process in Iowa is taking body punches from all corners this morning.
