A proposed lagoon will be the center of attention at tonight’s City Council meeting in Laurel. The City appears to be in the final stages of obtaining land that is on the southeast edge of Tom Bowman’s Firehouse Aquatic, which would also split the land of neighboring Century Farm in half. Bowman says he doesn’t understand why the City wants land so far out of its jurisdiction.
