Luka Garza scored 24 points the Hawkeyes finished the game on an 11-0 run to win at Minnesota 58-55. Iowa coach Fran McCaffery on the win without guard C.J. Fredrick.

Connor McCaffery finished with six points and seven assists as the Hawkeyes improve to 9-6 in the Big Ten and 18-8 overall.

The 17th ranked Iowa Hawkeye women shot 55 percent and made 10 three pointers in a 97-71 win over Wisconsin. It was the Hawks’ 34 straight win at home.

Kathleen Doyle had 22 points to Lisa Bluder’s Hawkeyes. Iowa now 12-3 in the Big Ten and are off until next weekend.
