Northern Iowa is closing in on a Missouri Valley championship. The Panthers used a 20-0 second half run to take command in a 64-52 win over Southern Illinois. It was a game of runs that saw the Panthers race out to a 24-11 lead only to have the Salukis close the first half with a 23-2 run.

UNI can clinch a share of the regular season title Wednesday night with a victory at home over Evansville.
