A 21-year old is dead after he lost control of his motorcycle in Ames yesterday.

The ISP reports Johnathan Pickhinke was traveling north on North Dakota Avenue when he lost control of his cycle, crossed the center line and hit an oncoming vehicle.

An update on yesterday mornings accident in the 14-hundred block of Lincoln Way in Marshalltown.

A passenger on one of the vehicles, Ricardo Ramirez was flown to a Des Moines hospital after he was thrown from the rolling SUV after it had crossed the center line and hit an oncoming car due to icy conditions. The driver of both vehicles were taken to UPH-Marshalltown.
