Nascar races in Atlanta and Miami postponed

NASCAR has made a decision regarding this weekends Folds of Honor QuickTrip 500 at Atlanta Motor Speedway. The race was slated for coverage to begin at Noon on Sunday.

Friday morning, Nascar released the following statement:

We believe this decision is in the best interest of the safety and well-being of our fans, competitors, officials and everyone associated with our sport. We will continue to monitor this dynamic situation as we assess future race events. INASCAR'Iowa’s Best Country, Kix 101.1 is your home for NASCAR all season long. Kix 101.1 will update the status of future races when more information is provided.
