The City of Marshalltown has been notified of three employees testing positive for COVID19. Due to employee privacy issues, no information about the employees or their roles with the City will be released.

To ensure the continued health and safety of our workforce, many actions have taken place including the deep cleaning of all office areas and workspaces, telecommuting for employees able to do so, and social distancing in all areas of operations. “We recognize that many functions of local government are essential, and we are listening to our team members to determine the safest way to continue operations during this time period,” City Administrator Jessica Kinser stated. “Our thoughts and prayers are with those who have tested positive as well as their families.”
