The scammers continue to try and separate you from your money. The IRS and U.S. Attorney’s Office warn you not to fall for those folks trying to stimulate your stimulus payments into their accounts.

They may try to you to verify your filing information that is used to get the stimulus payments to you. The IRS will not call you to verify anything. There are also no ways to get your money faster by clicking on an email link or text. And if you get a check that requires you to verify it online, that is a fraud as well.

As always, hang up on those who call trying to get any of your personal info, or delete the emails that ask for info as well.
