An Ames man was charged with seven offenses after he reportedly threatened to kill two police officers.
The Ames Tribune reports the girlfriend of Dylan Lunsford called police to say her five year old daughter said her father was acting weird.
Officers say the 29-year old Lunsford was drunk when they arrived. Lunsford struggled with police as they tried to get him into the patrol car, threatened to kill the officers, and then banged his head on the inside of the car and spat blood, costing more than $300 to clean.
Lunsford was charged with first-degree harassment, assault on a peace officer, child endangerment, interference with official acts, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and fifth-degree criminal mischief.
