The number of cases involving COVID-19 continue to add up. 535 new cases and four deaths reported today by the Iowa Department of Public Health.
The state has also identified a new outbreak in Marshall County at the Acura Health Care facility in Marshalltown.
Among the now 188 fatalities are one addition deaths in both Jasper, the second there and in Poweshiek County, now with five fatalities.
Case wise, 9,703 to date in Iowa;
25 new in Marshall County for 630;
17 new in Jasper County for 193;
Tama added six for 292 and
Five each in Poweshiek and Story Counties.
The number of negative tests reported now nearly 47, 500.
