Story County has added 12 new cases of COVID-19 since midday yesterday as the total number to date jumps to 177. Overall 217 new cases statewide for 22,733. Two more cases in both Marshall and Jasper Counties among the new number.

Nine new deaths statewide, brings that total to date to 638, none of the new cases in our immediate area.

Total recovered cases to date around the state now at 13,801.
