As the pandemic continues to linger on, so does the issue of those needing food in the community. The Marshalltown Rotary Club decided to do something about that and will host a food drive this Saturday on the south side parking area of Fisher Community Center. Rotary President Jim Goodman all donations will be used to stock the pantries at the Salvation Army and Emergency Food Box.
Goodman says donations of non-perishable food that is not past its labeled expiration date are welcome…as are cash donations. The event will run from 8:30 to 12:30 this Saturday morning, again on the southside of the Fisher Community Center.
