Several area non-profits have received a share of over $1.1 million dollars in CARES Act grants from the Iowa Department of Cultural Affairs.

Among the recipients;

The Grinnell Area Arts Council and the Weiting Theatre in Toledo each received $4,500.

The Marshall County Historical Society and Marshalltown Community Theater were each granted $2,500.
