The number of COVID cases reported by the Iowa Department of Public Health continues to mount. Since Saturday morning, 1,089 new cases have been tabulated, with 18 a popular number in Central Iowa. 18 new cases reported in Marshall, Story and Jasper Counties. The statewide number is 35,410.

Since Saturday morning, four additional deaths reported for a total of 72, one new fatality reported in Story County.

Nearly 500 recoveries also listed this morning for a statewide number of 26,580.
