Masks will be all around when the school season starts in the Marshalltown Community School District in August. At last nights school board meeting, the district said it’s Return To learn plan includes employees and students to wear face masks or face shields, with limited exceptions.

Temperature checks of staff and social distancing where possible are also part of the plan, along with limits on visitors in the school buildings. Large gathers of students and staff in the auditoriums, gymnasiums and cafeteria’s will also be prohibited.
